Why are you doing this 30 day challenge?
Amusingly enough, this was the idea of my pal from Twitter, @nzJayzee. He suggested doing it and I thought it seemed like a good way to get the discipline of blogging on a daily basis underway. Of course I didn't follow through with the discipline side, and am still plugging along at entry 27 of 30 a good four months later and (no judgement here, folks) JayZee didn't get around to starting. But... I've enjoyed doing (some of) this, and am determined to complete it even though I'll be limping up to the finish line, with everyone else having gone home hours before. I hope there's still a banner or at least a small bit of ribbon for me to break through triumphantly, arms aloft as I yell 'There can only be one!' in a half French, half Scottish accent. (Sorry about that,had my first viewing of 'Highlander' over the weekend and it's clearly left more of an impression than I'd realised).
